Zakharova explained Poroshenko’s indignation decree on passports for residents of the LC, etc
Moscow, April 26. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko «choked with indignation» in connection with the signing of the decree on the simplified procedure for the Russian citizenship of residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk people’s republics, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
Zakharova explained the outrage that the candidate for President of Ukraine Poroshenko in his speeches, posters, and slogans opposed himself to Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, Poroshenko was defeated in the elections.
«Poroshenko lost the election. It turns out that I lost them not to anyone, but to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Well, all, Peter Alekseevich, now obey the will of the one with whom, according to Your own words, You competed and to whom You, according to Your own logic, lost,» Zakharova said on Facebook.
Recall that on Wednesday, Putin signed a decree on the simplified receipt of Russian passports by residents of certain areas of the LPR and DPR. In Kiev, the decision of the Russian President caused a storm of indignation. Poroshenko said that Moscow allegedly crossed the «red lines» and «openly and brazenly torpedoes» the settlement of the conflict in the Donbass.
The Russian leader stressed that the decree is not intended to create problems for Kiev. Putin expressed surprise because of such a negative reaction in Ukraine. The head of state reminded that the neighboring countries of Ukraine have long been issuing passports to Ukrainians and this does not cause criticism
