The President of the United States of America Donald Trump in an interview with Politico commented on the recent missile launch carried out by North Korea.
As Trump noted, short-range missiles were launched. “I do not assess this as an abuse of trust,” — quotes the words of us President RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the joint chiefs of staff of the South Korean armed forces reported that on 9 may, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea had tested two rockets covering a distance of 420 and 270 kilometers, respectively. Volleys were fired eastward from the area of the village of Sinori, located 77 kilometers North-West of Pyongyang. Flying over the territory of North Korea, the shells fell into the sea of Japan.
On May 10, the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA) published photos from the shooting. It was noted that the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un personally ordered the start of exercises using long-range weapons. The exercises were conducted to assess the ability of North Korea’s defensive units to respond quickly.
