Characteristics are not disclosed. It is only known that the range of the missile should exceed 130 kilometers, and the speed at the approach to the target will be equal to 2 M, that is, twice the speed of sound.

The missile is not created from scratch. It will be the modification of mass-produced since 1982 missile family, AGM-88. Namely — the last adopted in 2010 anti-radar missile AGM-88E, which with the help of modern technology as much as possible eliminated the shortcomings of older missiles. But the problem was enough. Thus, in Iraq, the AGM-88D missile launched by the F-16 fighter destroyed the radar of the American Patriot air defense system. The main idea of the current modernization to a minimum extent involves the improvement of tactical and technical characteristics. It is necessary to reduce the size of the rocket so that it could be “shoved” into the inner compartment of the fighter-bomber F-35. Finding a rocket on the external suspension significantly increases the radar visibility of the aircraft. This is evidenced by the statement of Matthew Commerford, Manager of the corresponding program for the modernization of us air force General Directorate of weapons: “the New missile provides, in comparison with the AGM-88E, the same lethality, but in smaller dimensions.”

Therefore, with a high probability we can assume that the new modification, which is called AGM-88G, the parameters will be very close to AGM-88E. However, maybe due to the decrease in the volume of solid fuel, its range will be somewhat podsokratitsya.

So, what can the AGM-88E? The missile is equipped with a passive radar homing head. It can deal with radars, even in the case of turning off its transmitter. In this case, the coordinates of the radar are pre-detected. And after turning off the transmitter, the rocket goes not to the radiation (which is disabled), but to the coordinates on the GPS signal. Also, AGM-88E is able to respond to radar, which constantly changes the frequency of direction finding by random law. It is equipped with a dual-mode solid-fuel jet engine so that at the final stretch of the flight develops supersonic speed.

In the AGM-88E exists a transfer mode radar seeker from passive to active mode. This makes it possible to use the missile not only against electromagnetic wave-emitting antennas but also against other elements of ground-based SAMS — missile launchers, command vehicles, power supply systems. It costs AGM-88E nearly a million dollars.

In this connection, there is an inertial flight control channel. The maximum speed is 3.1 M. It is provided by a ramjet engine. The mass of the cassette warhead is 110 kilograms. And this despite the fact that the length of the rocket is only 110 centimeters longer than the AGM-88E, and the diameter is 11 centimeters. The missile is equipped with the last two Russian fighter — MiG-35 and su-35S.

X-58УШКЭ (TP) established by the Corporation “Tactical missiles” specifically for the fifth generation fighter, the su-57. The missile has a higher capability of hitting targets than the “American”, due to the interesting concept of building the GOS. In addition, it is more versatile.

This rocket has a two-channel GOS, which includes a passive broadband receiver of electromagnetic waves and a television camera. When you turn off the enemy radar transmitter in the event of a missile attack, the last modification of the X-58 is sent to the target, using its visual image. That is, the missile, unlike the AGM-88E, is not afraid of suppression by means of electronic counteraction of the GPS signal.In this case, the presence of a television camera allows you to use the X-58USHKE (TP) and against non-emitting ground objects — and not only included in the SAM, but also against command posts, engineering structures, armored vehicles and other military equipment of the enemy. The circular probable deviation from the target is 3-5 meters. With a weight of 150 kg, this deviation is absolutely insignificant.

Rocket X-58USHKE (TP) is still under test. However, AGM-88D is not yet ready to even in working drawings.
